I remember hearing the word surrender the first time I stepped into an AL-Anon meeting. I disliked the word "surrender," having no real idea what it meant it sounded more like give in or give up. Surrender sounded powerless, helpless, no hope. It wasn't until I began learning about self love and learning of the loving Creator that surrender began to mean something different. There are times when I still find myself questioning surrender, it comes from pain and fear. It helps to remember to slow down, walk through the fear, feel the pain and move on.

What a gift this law of surrender. For many years it seems like there was something more to life, something deeper, hidden, a cover up to life so to speak. I have searched and when ever an opportunity arose to take a real look at what this might be I again ran for cover. This was a spiritual search, a search for the meaning of soul, why was I here on this plane? The answers seemed to big, too outlandish and yet when I surrendered to this life, it began to flow a little more fluidly.

Divine Purpose, that was the answer, we all are living our Divine Purpose no matter how hard we try to hide or act little. Admittedly I do not always remember to surrender to this but I have to admit when I realized what a responsibility this was, my heart opened. I want to be part of the solution, part of the healing of the planet, part of the love.
